Antares is an Intensive English program committed to providing a complete English education. David Merkley, BS
David’s journey into language education is marked by a deep-rooted passion cultivated from an early age. Following high school, he ventured to Brazil for a transformative two-year missionary experience, immersing himself in the culture and occasionally teaching English. Returning to the United States, David pursued higher education in Colorado, earning a bachelor’s degree in business. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for a successful career spanning two decades in corporate management and entrepreneurship.
Driven by a desire to empower others and fueled by his love for languages, David eventually transitioned into English language education. This career shift allowed him to merge his professional expertise with his commitment to linguistic empowerment. Today, David’s journey stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication and versatility, inspiring others in the realm of language education.

Vinicius Nogueira
Vinicius Nogueira was born in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, and began his professional journey driven by a desire to experience the United States more deeply and to grow within a dynamic, global market. Before entering international education, he worked in the logistics industry, where he developed strong skills in negotiation, problem-solving, and operational thinking. This foundation, combined with his curiosity about the U.S. economy and its education sector, led him to transition into the English-language education market over three years ago.
For Vinicius, language represents mobility, opportunity, and personal transformation. Learning English fundamentally changed his life and opened the door to an international career; today, he speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, and is studying Mandarin. In his current work, Vinicius focuses on helping individuals build structured pathways for growth, enabling students to live their lives to the fullest while developing academically and professionally in the United States. His approach is grounded in structure, long-term vision, and the belief that education is a powerful engine for personal and professional advancement.
